About...
In 2006, Jennifer Weise was suddenly and spontaneously inspired to write “Inventory of Love.” In doing so, she became a poet, though she didn’t realize it at the time. Since that first poem, so far close to one hundred have emerged. Jennifer has been called a woman of honesty and integrity who won’t rest until she finds deep truth, for herself and for others. The material of life is the material of her poetry. Born to Jewish parents who were born to their own Jewish immigrant parents, she grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota. As an adult, she explored Jewish Renewal Judaism. More currently, she is involved in other profoundly moving spiritual paths and practices of the Heart.
An avid lover of travel, she has lived and traveled throughout Europe, Central and South America, Israel, and the United States. Jennifer has two master’s degrees—one in French Literature from Northwestern University and the other in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University. Jennifer has worked in a variety of settings, in more than one field, and in many different jobs over the years. For the last twenty years, she has lived in or near Boulder, Colorado and has worked as a licensed professional counselor with children, families, adults, and couples. Along the way, with great perseverance and through a process nearly crushingly humbling, she found and was found by the love of her life. She lives with him, their beloved son, her cat, her son’s two goldfish, and now also their sweet pup.
